Brief

A self-initiated concept study focused on the POD store purchase flow: reducing steps from landing to the product configurator, and designing a checkout experience that eliminates distraction and friction for a buyer who arrives with a clear intent to create.

Speed to configure

The central problem in POD flows is that the most important action - opening the product designer - is often buried behind category navigation, product selection, and option grids. This study maps the shortest credible path from the landing page to a loaded, ready-to-use configurator.

Distraction-free checkout

Once a buyer has committed to a custom product, checkout should remove anything that competes for attention. The study examines order summary persistence, error recovery patterns for custom items, and the minimum information required at each step.
