Context

Founded and led a 12-person team building a custom print-on-demand and creator-commerce platform on a customized OpenCart stack, designing every customer, seller, and internal-facing experience for the full tenure.

Designing a three-sided system

Separate user flows, dashboards, and information hierarchies for three distinct user types: customer, seller, and admin/approver. The challenge was designing surfaces that shared enough visual language to feel like one product while serving fundamentally different jobs-to-be-done.

Seller onboarding and storefronts

End-to-end UX of sign-up, design submission and approval, commission-tracking dashboards, and seller profile pages with achievement ribbons and theme customization, designed against a live staging environment.

The configurator

Rebuilt a non-responsive, browser-inconsistent third-party product-designer tool into a usable cross-browser configuration experience, plus the surrounding flow: product selection, live preview, cart entry.

The acquisition mechanic

Made the product call to ship SEO-friendly seller URLs and OpenGraph metadata in 2014–15, letting sellers drive social traffic straight to their pages. This was the core seller-channel growth lever.

Internal tooling

Unified the OpenCart admin and a third-party extension into a single approvals dashboard to cut friction for the team managing artwork quality, copyright checks, and printability.

Outcomes

2.2% conversion on a configure-then-buy flow and ~800 creator-sellers onboarded, in a market where influencer-commerce was still nascent.
